Every night we read several stories before going to bed. AJ enjoys picking out several books and Abby takes such pleasure in looking at the pages and laughing at her brother's jokes.
Abby enjoyed eating baby foods this month. We introduced vegetables this month, and she couldn't get enough of them! Abby is a bit of a stinker and refuses to take the bottle for everyone, so it was nice having something others could feed her. She had some problems with breathing at night (waking herself up snoring/ grunting frequently). After many dr.'s appointments, including a few trips up to Children's hospital and an overnight monitor set up at home we found no answers. I am not sure if her problems at night were connected between her having difficulties with taking bottles, but eventually she did outgrow her night problems.
Abby loved this blanket (so did AJ when he was a baby).
AJ was very proud of himself for getting this baby toy to work :) Adam and AJ reading a book together.
We enjoyed visiting great-grandma Giles at her home with both kids dressed up in their costumes. It was such a nice visit!
Great-grandma Giles and AJ had fun dancing together in the kitchen. He taught her how to "shake your booty". When she twisted like him on his command, he said, "No, like this" and tried to get her to shake her booty all the way to the floor. It was very funny. AJ had so much fun at the fall harvest party at church. I was so proud of him to go through all the obstacles without me!
Abby in her ladybug costume. AJ & Abby posing in the front yard on Halloween night.
Abby knows how to pose for the camera - she is a natural!
Abby's smile is so contageous!
I introduced puzzles to AJ this month - and although it was a little tricky for him to put together, I was amazed with how persistent he was and how patient!
Abby loves her exersaucer! Sitting on the stacks of hay in the front yard.
Loving the rolls! AJ was a good sport, I had him pose on this bale of hay many times with the deal of "one more picture, then you can go and play" :)
AJ and Grammy Susie made yummy sugar cookies in the shape of pumpkins. As you can see, this was a bit of a messy project :)
AJ always asks to hold Abby. He is so gentle with her!
Abby just adores Grammy!
AJ had fun with play-doh & Grammy. Abby was starting to put weight on her feet and loves to "stand up"
Papa successfully rocked Abby to sleep!
AJ having fun at the park.
Abby enjoying a snack of baby oatmeal.
AJ & Tyler had so much fun with our big foam puzzles, aka the "muddy mud road" for Diego and his jeeps to ride on.
AJ, Tyler, and Haley getting a ride in the wagon on the way to the park.
Abby sitting in her bumbo.
I think she is practicing "the look" to ask to take the car out for a spin in a few years :)
Abby telling me a joke.
Abby is always smiling!
AJ had fun "fishing" in the basketball net. I love it when AJ talks to his little sister!
Abby and I sitting and watching AJ play with his train table.
Love the ears!
Nana holding Abby the day she was dedicated at church.
AJ and Grandma Pam enjoying a bite of cake (I think Maggie was hoping to share in the fun as well)
All of Abby's grandparents joined us in celebrating her dedication. The rest of the family who joined us was able to watch the ceremony and joined us for a little party at our home after the service. More dedication pictures.
AJ joining Abby during her tummy time.
Abby enjoying her bouncy seat oustide.
We are so fortunate to have good friends live in our neighborhood. Gordon and Melissa have a beautiful girl named Aurora... this is our first playdate together.
I wonder what Abby was thinking here?
AJ loved picking the apples as much as eating them.
The apple orchard had a massive pile of hay for kids to climb up on. Not sure how sanitary it was, but he had so much fun climbing up it and rolling down!
AJ "being one" with the animals.
AJ and Tyler riding the choo choo train.
We had many trips on the train this fall!
It is a good thing that Abby loves the baby carrier - I tote her around everywhere!
Waiting for another trip on the choo choo train!
AJ had fun in the little playhouses at the apple orchard.
It was a bonus that the apple orchard has wagons for kids to pull around. He is toting around our lunch, which was helpful for me!
Abby never really figured out how to keep the paci in her mouth (part of the whole not taking a bottle thing I think), but she does like to chew on it.

After picking a bunch of apples, AJ was my helper in peeling and cutting them with my nifty tool.
I love Abby's toes!
Another little musical geneous! Now we just have to wait for the kids to get a little bit older so we can take our show on the road!
This is the sweet face I get to see every morning :) Lucky me!
I think Abby is going to have AJ's sense of humor!
Grammy gave Abby this hat. ha ha ha. Abby always kicks her feet (or rubs them together when she is nursing). It is so cute!
